UV, IR, NMR, and mass spectroscopy. I had a strong thyroid stimulatory action when administered to albino rats. I (1 mg/100 g) increased iodine uptake by thyroid and enhanced activities of thyroid peroxidase [9003-99-0] and protease [9001-92-7] as well as O consumption by isolated slices of liver and biceps muscle.
