The low detns. obsd. at the level of the fetal blood and urine and the amniotic fluid, as well as in the placenta and oviducts may be due to the fact that the passage of this drug into the compartments mentioned takes place slowly. The concn. of I was, nonetheless, bactericidal in all the tissues and fluids studies.
