Used either singly or in combination with polyethylene glycol 4000 [25322-68-3] or 6000, the fumarate gave clear acceptable solns. Na stearyl fumarate had the best flow rate and satisfactory values related to residual and ejection force precent. Na benzoate [532-32-1] was most inferior in many of the lubricant properties examd.
