This review summarizes non-patent and patent literature up to Nov. 2005 that deals with the synthesis and characterization of selective 5-HT2C receptor agonists and antagonists. Highlights on structure-activity relationships were included, when possible. 120-72-9 and 4424-20-8 are just another two chemicals used in this study. .
