The ionic liq. 75037-04-6 and 4474-24-2 are cas registry numbers. These chemicals are also mentioned in this article. extn. system was successfully used in the extn. of dyes. The effects of some parameters, such as the extn. phase ratio, pH of the aq. phase, system temp. and the addn. of 18-crown-6 in org. phase were studied in detail. Results showed that [bmim]PF6 had different extn. effects for different dyes, and the extn. rates were over 95% for acid dyes, 64.9% for weak-acid dyes, and 18.5% for reactive dyes. When the phase ratio (Vo/Vaq) was 1:10, the ionic liq. reached its crit. satn. point. With the pH value of the aq. phase was adjusted from 1.50 to 12.5, the removal efficiency of acid yellow RN was reduced from 99.8% to 13.4%. The higher the system temp. was, the higher the removal efficiency became. Moreover, the addn. of 18-crown-6 could enhance the removal efficiency of reactive black KN-G2RC and reactive yellow M-5R from 31.5% and 5.5% to 81.6% and 82.7%, resp. .

The dyeing kinetics were measured for several types of dyes and on the color intensity and color fastness were evaluated. The enzymic treatment enhances the dyeing rate. The final color and the color fastness are not affected significantly. .
