I caused no change in the tone of saphenous vein strips from dogs and had no influence (20 .mu.g/mL) on the sensitivity of the strips to noradrenaline. Using oil immersion techniques, 20-100 .mu.g I/mL was shown to decrease the rate of relaxation of the strips after exposure to maximal contracting doses of noradrenaline.

Diosmin [520-27-4], one of the musty odor components, was decompd. by 31-50% after treatment with 10 ppm O3 for 3 min. No more decompn. was obsd. with more O3. Activated charcoal was also effective.
