Thus, 2-hydroxynaphthoic acid hydrazide [5341-58-2] was mixed with iminooxoisoindolenine hydrochloride [14847-28-0] in HOAc and heated to give a coupling component [65740-40-1] which was treated with diazotized a-aminoanthraquinone [82-45-1] to give I(R = 1-anthraquinonyl, n = 0) [65740-41-2], bluish red in lacquers.
