DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 71 (Nuclear Technology) Section cross-reference(s): 66 The radiocolloidal and pseudo-radiocolloidal states of uranyl acetate [541-09-3] solns. of different U concns. (0.146-372 ppm) and of the liq. residue from the sepn. of U, as well as the behavior of these states as a function of time, were studied directly by the fission-fragment track method. The appearance of the radiocolloidal and pseudo-radiocolloidal states depends strongly on the quantity of impurities in the soln.; the sizes of the radiocolloids and pseudo-radiocolloids increase with time and the retention of radiocolloids on various materials is very different.
