The recovery of added BHT and BHA from edible oils and fats, such as olive oil, butter, and margarine, was 389%. The recovery of DHA from cheese and butter was >95%, and that of SOA from fish sausages was >93%. This method was more sensitive than the conventional steam distn. method for detn. of SOA in fish products, including kamaboka, chikuwa and fish ham and sausages.
