- Comparison of isofloxythepin with pimozide and docloxythepin with clozapine; single dose controlled study in healthy volunteers. Nahunek, K.; Kuliskova, O.; Misurec, J.; Slama, B.; Svestka, J. (Med. Fac., UJEP, Brno, Czech.). Act. Nerv. Super., 26(1), 16-17 (English) 1984. CODEN: ACNSAX. ISSN: 0001-7604. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) In normal human volunteers, the inhibitory effects of isofloxythepin (I) [70931-18-9], docloxythepin (II) [56934-18-0], pimozide [2062-78-4], and clozapine [5786-21-0] in psychol. tests was detd. When evaluated subjectively, I had a greater inhibitory activity than pimozide and II had a greater activity than clozapine. The side effects (weakness, fatigue, and stuffed nose) were more frequent after I and II than after the other drugs. A slight hypotensive effect was obsd. after I, II, and pimozide.
- Electroencephalographic changes (computerized EEG) after a single dose of docloxythepin and clozapine
- Electroencephalographic changes (computerized EEG) after a single dose of docloxythepin and clozapine. Double blind cross-over study in healthy volunteers. Misurec, J.; Nahunek, K.; Kuliskova, O.; Svestka, J. (Psychiatr. Clin., KUNZ, Brno, Czech.). Act. Nerv. Super., 26(1), 17-18 (English) 1984. CODEN: ACNSAX. ISSN: 0001-7604. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) In normal human subjects, docloxythepin (I) [56934-18-0] and clozapine [5786-21-0] (12.5 mg, orally) increased the incidence of marked EEG signs of lowered vigilance. I increased and clozapine decreased total power. The effects of these drugs on the a-, b-, and q-activity in the EEG were also detd.
