- Effects of anticoagulant poison-baits on the behavior of white rats (Rattus norvegicus). Desheesh, M. A. T. (Fac. Agric., Alexandria Univ., Alexandria, Egypt). Alexandria Sci. Exch., 4(2), 173-80 (English) 1983. CODEN: ALSEEF. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 5 (Agrochemical Bioregulators) Coumatetralyl [5836-29-3] baits caused 100% mortality in 5.7 days to white rats and caused drastic changes in the rat behavior. Brodifacoum [56073-10-0], difenacoum [56073-07-5], warfarin [81-81-2], and coumachlor [81-82-3] caused 75, 25, 75 and 50% mortality after 13.3, 11, 6, and 7 days, resp. The effect of these rodenticides on rat behavior was examd. 81-82-3 and 81-81-2 are just another two chemicals used in this study. by studying the onset and duration of hesitation and the 1st sign of refusal of feeding. .

- Determination of coumarin anticoagulant rodenticide residues in animal tissue by high-performance liquid chromatography. II. Fluorescence detection using ion-pair chromatography. Hunter, K. (Dep. Agric. Fish. Scotl., Agric. Sci. Serv., Edinburgh EH12 8NJ, UK). J. Chromatogr., 270, 277-83 (English) 1983. CODEN: JOCRAM. ISSN: 0021-9673. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 4 (Toxicology) A high-performance liq. chromatog. method was developed for the detn. of warfarin [81-81-2], coumatetralyl [5836-29-3], bromadiolone [28772-56-7], difenacoum [56073-07-5], and brodifacoum [56073-10-0] in animal tissues using fluorescence detection. Ion-pair chromatog., with Bu4N+ ion as counter-ion, was used to take full advantage of their native fluorescence. 56073-10-0 and 81-81-2 which are cas registry numbers of substances are two of reagents here. Detection limits in liver tissue after gel permeation clean-up were 0.002 mg/kg for coumatetralyl, difenacoum, and bromdifacoum, 0.008 mg/kg for bromadiolone, and 0.01 mg/kg for warfarin. .
