A variety of aryl sulfides were prepd. in excellent yields under mild reaction conditions using 1-2 mol% of CoI2(dppe) and Zn. 584-12-3 and 6013-47-4 are just another two chemicals used in this study. This cobalt-catalyzed coupling provided an alternative way of previously known methods to synthesize thioethers. .
