DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 41 (Dyes, Organic Pigments, Fluorescent Brighteners, and Photographic Sensitizers) Section cross-reference(s): 27 The dyes were synthesized from b-naphthylamine via diazotization, deoxidization, Fischer cyclization, N-alkylation and coupling. The method of microwave irradn. was utilized in several steps for intermediates and the title compds. 622-15-1 which is the cas registry number of some chemical is mentioned. The products were characterized by IR, UV and 1H NMR. The results show that this method has the advantage of saving time by 7.4 ~ 47 folds and enhancing yield by 5.1% ~ 50.4% compared to the traditional method. .
