The liq. mixt. undergoes a liq.-liq. demixing but also (some 20° below the crit. point) a solid phase sepn. On the l.h.s. of a liq.-liq. coexistence curve 2,5-dimethylpyridine, dild. in H2O, adsorbs step by step, and on the r.h.s. the relative adsorption is wave shaped.
