In general, the elimination half-life of digoxin was lengthened and the area under the time-plasma concn. curve was increased. Precisely the opposite effects on digoxin pharmacokinetics were obsd. in similar expts. in humans, showing that drug-interaction studies in animals are not necessarily predictive of results in man.
