DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 2 (Hormone Pharmacology) Section cross-reference(s): 34 [4-Homoserine]oxytocin [63529-98-6] was prepd. by the solid-phase method, using N.alpha.-tert-butyloxycarbonyl-O-benzyl-L-homoserine [59408-74-1] in the peptide coupling procedure. The new analog had rat oxytocic potency of 125 units/mg, and an oxytocic-antidiuretic ratio of 521. Structure-activity relations are disscussed.
