Under greenhouse conditions I was 10-fold more effective than under field conditions and at rates up to 0.2 kg/ha 98% control was obtained with no injury to cotton. Under field conditions I at 0.4, 0.8, and 1.6 kg/ha resulted in 24, 75, and 96% control, resp., with no injury to cotton.

I had no adverse effect on cotton or rotational crops.
