Suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride. Kawasumi, Haruo; Koike, Yasunori; Watanabe, Tooru; Harada, Kunihiro (Toa Gosei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Japan). Japan. Kokai JP 52053990 30 Apr 1977 Showa, 6 pp. (Japanese). (Japan). CODEN: JKXXAF. CLASS: IC: C08F014-06. APPLICATION: JP 75-129370 29 Oct 1975. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 35 (Synthetic High Polymers) Suspension polymn. of vinyl chloride in aq. medium contg. oil-sol. catalysts and suspension stabilizers was carried out in a reaction vessel coated to 0.1-0.0001 mm thickness with a compn. comprising a compd. (I; R, R1 = acyl; R2-R5 = H, alkyl, halogen, OH), one or more metal ions of Group IB, IIA, IIB, or VIII, and benzenesulfohydroxamic acid (II) [599-71-3] or(and) 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone [80-09-1], as well as a polyamide or polysulfone. Thus, a mixt. of benzoquinone dioxime diacetate [886-73-7] 0.05, CuCl2.2H2O 0.05, II 0.05, a com. polyamide 1.5, trichloroethylene 50, and MeOH 50 parts was coated on all inside walls of a 2000-L stainless steel reaction vessel and dried to give a 0.01-0.001 mm-thick film. A mixt. of 1000 kg water, 400 g partially sapond. poly(vinyl alc.), 100 g lauroyl peroxide, and 400 kg vinyl chloride was polymd. 64164-87-0 is the cas registry number of certain chemical which is used as reagents here. 11 h at 67.degree. to give poly(vinyl chloride) [9002-86-2] in 88.0% yield. The scale deposition on the reaction vessel was av. 50 g/m2 for 25 batches, compared with 500 g/m2 in 1 batch for a noncoated reaction vessel. .
Cyclooxygenase 2 inhibition with nitroxyl for treating COX-2-mediated conditions

Publ. There are some reagents with their cas registry numbers 14967-78-3 and 599-71-3 are used in this study. US 2005009789 A1 13 Jan 2005, 15 pp. (English). (United States of America). CODEN: USXXCO. CLASS: ICM: A61K031-655. APPLICATION: US 2004-845619 12 May 2004. PRIORITY: US 2003-PV470320 13 May 2003. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) Section cross-reference(s): 7 Nitroxyl is used to inhibit COX-2 activity and particularly to selectively inhibit COX-2 activity. Nitroxyl also is used to treat conditions that respond favorably to inhibition of COX-2 activity in subjects having such conditions. In some cases nitroxyl is used to treat conditions that respond favorably to inhibition of COX-2 activity in subjects having such conditions and who also have at least one other condition for which inhibition of COX-1 activity is disadvantageous. Nitroxyl can be provided directly, but typically is provided with the use of a nitroxyl donor. Nitroxyl donors include any agent or compd. (or combination thereof) that donates HNO or NO-. Diazeniumdiolates are used in some cases as nitroxyl donors. In particular instances, diazeniumdiolates having a primary amine group are used as nitroxyl donors. Nitroxyl-donating compds. also are screened for selective COX-2 inhibition for identification as therapeutic agents. Piloty's acid and S-nitroso-glutathione are useful for treating COX-2-mediated conditions in a subject having a condition for which COX-1 inhibition is disadvantageous. .
