DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacodynamics) Explants of brain tissue from fetuses of schizophrenic mothers were generally more resistant to aminazin [50-53-3], majeptil [2347-80-0], stelazine [440-17-5], triphthazine [117-89-5], tisercin [60-99-1], theralene [4330-99-8], haloperidol [52-86-8], eglonil [15676-16-1], melipramine [50-49-7], and seduxen [439-14-5] than explants from fetuses of normal mothers. However, survival of explants from fetuses of schizophrenic patients was less (63.6%) than that of explants from fetuses of normal mothers (92.3%). Both prepns. were most sensitive to aminazin and least sensitive to seduxen.

The product of oxidn., probably I sulfoxide [7606-29-3], shows an absorption max. at 333 nm. Beer's law was obeyed in the concn. range 20-110 mg/mL, and the relative std. deviation was 1.10%. The method was successfully used for the anal. of tablets, injections, and oral solns., even when I was assocd. with clorexolone.
