Thus, a 100 .mu. thick biaxially oriented and crystallized poly(ethylene terephthalate) film support was coated with a mixt.In this article, certain chemicals are used. Some of their cas registry numbers are 112-96-9 and 6006-65-1 of cellulose triacetate and ethylene glycol-terephthalic acid-triethylene glycol polymer to give a thickness of 1 .mu.. Then, an antihalation layer compn. contg. an acrylic acid-ethyl acrylate-Me methacrylate (:45) polymer 3, hydroxypropylmethylacetylphthaloylcellulose 2, carbon black 2, MeOH 100, Me2CO 50, and Me Cellosolve 50 parts was coated thereon at 40 g/m2 and dried at 100.degree. for 10 min. Upon this antihalation layer was then coated a 730 .mu. wide and 7 .mu. (dry) thick magnetic recording stripe from a compn. contg. .alpha.-Fe2O3 20, nitrocellulose 5, nitrile rubber 2, Me Cellosolve acetate 10, BuOAc 60, DMF 10, and cyclohexyl isocyanate 5 parts. After drying at 50.degree. for 3 min, the film was then immersed in an alkali developer soln. of 35.degree. for 6 min. The magnetic recording stripe did not fall off and adhered solidly to the film. .
