DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 5 (Agrochemical Bioregulators) Expts. were carried out at 8 permanent pasture sites in England and Wales to study the effect of insecticides + molluscicides (A) (g-HCH [58-89-9], chlorpyrifos [2921-88-2], methiocarb [2032-65-7]), fungicides (B) (propiconazole [60207-90-1], Aliette [39148-24-8], prochloraz [67747-09-5]) and nematocides (C) (oxamyl [23135-22-0]) on the total annual herbage yields. Significant yields increases were obtained with A + B + C, B, and A treatments. Responses to A treatments were greater and more frequent than those to other treatments.

Pest control (measured as % green leaf area) was obtained with propiconazole [60207-90-1] (0.125 kg/ha) and propiconazole-iprodione mixt. [99405-42-2] (0.125 + 0.5 kg/ha); this was followed by propiconazole-tridemorph mixt. [99654-81-6], iprodione [36734-19-7], triadimefon-anilazine mixt. [99405-35-3] and pyrazophos [13457-18-6]. Triforine-mancozeb mixt. and tridemorph-carbendazim-maneb mixt. were less effective than the above fungicides.
