b-Adrenergic receptors in rat liver
b-Adrenergic receptors in rat liver. Direct localization using a fluorescent b-blocker. Santamaria, Luis; De Miguel, Enrique (Fac. Med., Univ. Auton. Madrid, Madrid, Spain). Rev. Esp. Enferm. Apar. Dig., 67(3), 221-4 (Spanish) 1985. CODEN: READBN. ISSN: 0034-9437. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 2 (Mammalian Hormones) A method for histol. detection of b-adrenergic receptors in rat liver is described. Receptors may be localized with the use of a fluorescent b-blocker 9-aminoacridinepropranolol [60566-40-7]. The problem of distinguishing autofluorescence from fluorescence due to labeled receptors is discussed.
Beta-adrenergic receptors in rat myocardium: direct detection by a new fluorescent beta-blocker
Beta-adrenergic receptors in rat myocardium: direct detection by a new fluorescent beta-blocker. Melamed, E.Several substances are used for example 60566-40-7 and 525-66-6 which are their cas registry numbers.; Lahav, M.; Atlas, Daphne (Dep. Neurol., Hadassah Hosp., Jerusalem, Israel). Experientia, 32(11), 1387-9 (English) 1976. CODEN: EXPEAM. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacodynamics) 9-Aminoacridin propranolol (9-AAP) [60566-40-7] was administered i.v. to rats. Multiple fluorescent 9-AAP binding sites were obsd. on cardiac muscle cells in frozen sections. Intensity and d. of cardiac 9-AAP fluorescence were markedly reduced following pretreatment with (.+-.)- [13013-17-7] and (-)-propranolol [4199-09-1] but not with (+)-propranolol [5051-22-9]. Our findings suggest that 9-AAP may label .beta.-adrenergic receptor sites in rat myocardium. .
