NaOH to give highly moisture-absorbing crosslinked acrylic fibers, which were treated with aq. HNO3, neutralized, and treated with CaCl2 ot give pH-buffering fibers. Then, the fibers were treated with a compn. contg. 50% stearylamidopropyldimethyl(b-hydroxyethyl)ammonium nitrate and 50% I-II () copolymer to give products showing good spinning property and high antibacterial effect after washing 10 times. ..
