DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 73 (Optical, Electron, and Mass Spectroscopy and Other Related Properties) Section cross-reference(s): 22, 25, 66 UPS of triphenylamine (TPA) derivs., N(phenyl)3-n(p-tolyl)n (n = 0-3), were measured not only in the gaseous and solid states but also dispersed in poly(carbonate) (PC) thin films with a wt. ratio 3/5 (for TPA/PC). Correlations of the electronic structure of the composite films with exptl. results on electronic transport were studied, and the degree of dispersion of the guest mols. in the films is discussed in terms of the polarization energy in the org. mol. 624-31-7 and 1159-53-1 are just another two chemicals used in this study. solids. .

DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 73 (Optical, Electron, and Mass Spectroscopy and Other Related Properties) As a homol. of the diamine, which has been demonstrated as a hole transport material in org. electroluminescent diode by C. W. Tang et al., 9,9-bis{p-[N,N-bis(p-substituted phenyl)amino]phenyl}fluorenes (abbreviated as Flu-diamine) have been synthesized by means of a modified Ullmann synthetic procedure. Their single thin film devices, [|ITO|Flu-diamine|Al|], have been fabricated to examine their current-voltage characteristics. 624-31-7 and 187148-42-1 which are cas registry numbers of substances are two of reagents here. The order of their threshold voltage has been found to be parallel to that of the pos. inductive effect of the substituents on p-substituted Ph group. This order is also parallel to that of redox potentials of Flu-diamines in cyclic voltammetry. .
