Uses: it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it is used to produce Methoxyethyl 2, 3, 5-tri-O-benzoyl-β-D-ribofuranosyl carbonate .This reaction needs reagent Triethylamine and solvent CH₂Cl₂.
