This is the 1st report on the isolation of I from S. rehderiana.

Many of the flavonoids wogonin (I) [632-85-9], wogonin-7-O-D-glucuronide [51059-44-0], baicalein [491-67-8], skullcapflavone II [55084-08-7], (2S)-2',5,6',7-tetrahydroxyflavanone [80604-16-6], (2R,3R)-2',3,5,6',7-pentahydroxyflavanone [80366-15-0] and 2',5,5',7-tetrahydroxy-6',8-dimethoxyflavone) [92519-91-0] inhibited the histamine release from rat mast cells induced by compd. 48/80.
