One of their cas registry numbers is 63263-87-6 , Chem., A11(4), 751-65 (English) 1977. CODEN: JMCHBD. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 35 (Synthetic High Polymers) Section cross-reference(s): 34, 63, 27 5-Vinyl-N-benzylindoline [63228-21-7] and 5-vinyl-N-benzylindole [63228-23-9] were synthesized starting from the corresponding 5-formyl derivs., by utilizing the Wittig or Wittig-Horner reactions. The monomers were polymn. by free-radical (AIBN) and anionic (BuLi) catalysts. Poly(5-vinyl-N-benzylindole) [63228-24-0] was converted through suitable reactions to the tryptamine [63228-02-4] and indole acetic acid [63228-00-2] derivs. Poly(5-vinyl-N-benzyltryptophane) [63228-04-6] was synthesized by malonic ester synthesis by utilizing the condensation of poly(5-vinyl-N-benzylgramine) [63227-98-5] and di-Et formamidomalonate [6326-44-9]. .
