Dibekacin sulfate [58580-55-5], tobramycin [32986-56-4], sisomicin sulfate [53179-09-2], and amikacin sulfate [39831-55-5] were nontoxic for a test period (256 min). Benzalkonium chloride, Me 4-hydroxybenzoate [99-76-3], and Na2SO3 (additives for eye lotion) were found to be toxic. These drugs in com. eye lotions are not toxic if used as suggested by the manufacturers, but they could produce side effects if used repeatedly.

After sepn. 75-15-0 and 66803-19-8 which are cas registry numbers are also used here. from excess reagent, the content of Ni2+ in the ppt. can be detd. by AAS. The micronomicin sulfate can be quant. detd. by using Ni2+ calibration curve. The linear range is 7-440 mg/mL and relative std. deviation is 1.4%. The recovery is 98.4%~102.8%. .
