CODEN: GWXXBX. CLASS: IC: C09B067-02; C09B067-44; C09B067-24. APPLICATION: DE 82-3207533 3 Mar 1982. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 40 (Textiles) Section cross-reference(s): 41 Prepns. contg. water-sol. anionic or cationic dyes and di-C1-4-alkyl sulfones are stable in storage. Thus, a mixt. of reactive dye I [88112-50-9] 16.5, di-Me sulfone (II) [67-71-0] 10, phosphate buffer (for pH 7) 0.5, and H2O 73 parts was stirred and filtered to give a soln. Storage of this soln. for 4 wk at 50° resulted in only 4% hydrolysis of the dye, compared with 25% when II was replaced by tetramethylene sulfone.
- Determination of dimexide, methisazone, and their metabolites in body fluids
- Determination of dimexide, methisazone, and their metabolites in body fluids. Turkevich, N. M.; Vladzimirskaya, E. V.; Tereshchuk, S. I.; Tomashevskaya, M. F. (L'vov. Med. Inst., Lvov, USSR). Farmatsiya (Moscow), 26(4), 33-5 (Russian) 1977. CODEN: FRMTAL. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacodynamics) Dimexide (dimethylsulfoxide) [67-68-5] and its metabolic product dimethylsulfone [67-71-0] were detected in biol. materials by heating to 70-80.degree. with PhCh2OH and AgNO3, during which PhCHO was formed and reacted with the Ag to form a gray ppt. For quant. detn., the PhCHO form in the reaction was measured by gas chromatog. This method was used to show that when Me2SO was applied to the skin of the shoulder, it appeared in the blood stream in 8-5 min, and reached max. levels in 3.5-7 h. Methisazone [1910-68-5] was detd. in biol. liqs. with CHCl3 at pH 6, drying the ext., dissolving the residue in MeOH, and reading with a spectrophotometer at 365 nm. Salts of the compd. were extd. from the samples at pH 2.0. Metabolites of the compd. were sepd. from biol. materials by silica gel thin-layer chromatog. with BuOH-HOAc-water (:3).
