DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 69 (Thermodynamics, Thermochemistry, and Thermal Properties) Thermogravimetric anal. of 17 metal EDTA (LH4) complexes, e.g. Na4L.3H2O [67401-50-7] and K3VO2L.H2O [67462-84-4], showed that neither the temp. of H2O elimination nor the pattern of thermal decompn. reliably indicates structure or bonding. The thermal decompn. behavior of some complexes can be correlated with H2O-mol. type but the possibility of strong or weak H-bonding reduces the validity of any correlations drawn. .
