Cotton cloth was soaked 1 min in a 5% EtOAc soln. of I contg. a trace of HCl as catalyst and dried 30 min at 100° to give a sample with oil repellancy all 3(AATCC test) after washing 0, 1, 3, and 5 times, compared with 3, 3, 2, 0-1 when a com. oil repellant was used.
