The corresponding std. enthalpies of sublimation were calcd. from vapor pressures measured against temp. by means of a Bourdon gauge. The results of the exptl. measurements which are discussed and compared with those calcd. via empirical force-field calcns. are given below; all values are in kcal/mol. Adamanton-2-one, -Dh°f 1344.4, -Dh°f(c) 74.3, DH°sub 19.2, -DH°f(g) 55.1, adamantan-1-ol (values given in same order, resp.) 1392, 95.0, 20.7, 74.3; adamantan-2-ol, 1394.3, 92.7, 21.2, and 71.5.
