Yeung Nam Taehakkyo Kongop Kisul Yonguso Yongu Pogo, 2(1), 61-71 (Korean) 1974. CODEN: YNTPDO. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 39 (Textiles) Diffusion coeff. (D) of aq. p-nitroaniline (I) [100-01-6] (model for disperse dye) in poly(ethylene terephthalate) (II) [25038-59-9] wound film had exponential and logarithmic relation with I concn. at low (up to 8 .times. 10-2 mol/kg) and high concn., resp. The D of 4-amino-4'-nitroazobenzene [730-40-5], 4-hydroxy-4-nitroazobenzene [1435-60-5], 2,4-dinitrodiphenylamine [961-68-2], and 1-amino-4-hydroxyanthraquinone [116-85-8] gave a relation, D = D0 + kC, where k is a const. and C dye concn. A correlation between D and partition coeff. was obsd., and the concn. dependence of D may be ascribed to swelling of amorphous region in II.

DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 39 (Textiles) Adsorption ratio of C.I. Acid Red 1 [3734-67-6] and C.I. Acid Blue 45 (I) [2861-02-1] as a mixt. (similar in affinity) on nylon 6 fiber was const. at varied pH in the dye bath, while that of I and C.I. Acid Red 88 (II) [1658-56-6] (not similar in affinity) decreased (as II/I) with decreasing pH. Diffusion coeff. of C.I. Disperse Orange 3 [730-40-5]-C.I. Disperse Red 15 (III) [116-85-8] mixt. in nylon 6 [25038-54-4] film was comparable to that of the individual dye, while diffusion coeff. of III-1,4-dihydroxyanthraquinone [81-64-1] was much lower than that of the individual dye.
