The Robson-type macrocyclic ligands included derivs. of (4aR,13aR,17aR,,26aR)-1,2,3,4,4a,13a,14,15,16,17,17a,26a-dodeca hydro-7,,24-dimethenodibenzo[b,m][1,4,12,15]tetraazacyclodoco sine-27,28-diol and (4R,5R,15R,16R)-4,5,15,16-tetraphenyl-3,6,14,17-tetraazatricyclo[17.3 .1.18,12]tetracosa-1(23),2,6,8,10,12(24),13,17,19,21-decaene-23,24-di ol.
