The compn. has excellent storage stability under anhyd. conditions. When the compn. is hardened by atm. moisture, the surface becomes a rubber-like elastomer but the inner part remains in a semihardened state. The compn. is useful in sealing materials for buildings and mastic-type sealing materials. Thus, a,w-dihydroxy di-Me siloxane (viscosity 15,000 cP at 25°) 100, CaCO3 25, and ground limestone 115 parts were mixed. A Me siloxane contg. Et2NO groups 3, dimethylbis(N-methylacetamido)silane [21654-66-0] 8, and trimethyl(N-methylacetamido)silane [7449-74-3] 0.1-5.0 parts were added to the mixt. to give an uniform compn. 21654-66-0 which is the cas registry number of one of substances is just one of reagents here. H-type joints made from the compn. had good characteristics and good results in tensile testing.. The compn. had excellent storage stability for 6 mo. .
