I was treated with SO3, stirred 2 h, refluxed 4 h, and distd. to give MeSO3F [421-20-5] and FCOCF2CN (II) [77946-96-4]. II was mixed with KF in diglyme at -10°, stirred 30 min at 0°, stirred with CF2:CFCF2OSO2F [67641-28-5] at 0°, stirred 4 h at 0-5°, and stirred 1 h at 25° to give CF2:CFCF2OCF2CF2CN [78900-57-9]. .
