When this catalyst was used along with Et3Al and Et2AlCl for slurry polymn. of propylene at 70° and 2 kg/cm2 (gage), the isotactic polymer [25085-53-4] (96.1% insol. in heptane) was obtained with catalyst activity 575 g/g-h-atm., compared with 93.6% and 372 g/g-h-atm. using a catalyst prepd. with PhCl in place of CCl4. .
