Preparation of Hydroxytriphenylstannane: you can add a certain amount of sodium hydroxide solution (10 ~ 20% weight percent) into the Ph3SnCl water mixture with uniform. This reaction will need a certain amount catalyst and inhibitor. The reaction time is 3-7 hours at reaction temperature of 50-90 °C.

Uses of Hydroxytriphenylstannane: It is a protective fungicide with no suction effect. It is mainly used to prevent potato late blight, beet, anthrax, brown rhizoctonina soybean grain disease, purple spot disease, rice blast, TiaoBan disease, til leaf blight, onion, celery black class disease leaf blight, string beans anthrax, etc. In addition, it also can be used for prevention and control the algae and water snails in the paddy fields. And it can be used for increase the yield of beet and soybean.

It is toxic in contact with skin, if swallowed, by inhalation. But there is limited evidence of a carcinogenic effect and to aquatic organisms. It may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. It has risk of serious damage to the eyes, danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure through inhalationto and the unborn child. In addition, it is irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. During using it, you should wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
