Eva; Bello, Jose F. (Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Universidad Complutense, Madrid 28040, Spain). Journal of Molecular Catalysis B: Enzymatic, 2(4-5), 177-184 (English) 1997 Elsevier. CODEN: JMCEF8. ISSN: 1381-1177. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 7 (Enzymes) Covalent immobilization on agarose and SiO2 of pure lipase A (LIP.A) and B (LIP.B) from C. rugosa is described. The results obtained are compared with data obtained in the covalent binding of com. lipase (CL) to the same supports. The immobilization of LIP.A and LIP.B on agarose affords more stable biocatalysts than on SiO2. Kinetic studies of all these lipases and derivs. in the hydrolysis of (R)-(+) and (S)-(-) Me 2-chloropropionates were performed and their enantiomeric ratios (E = (Vmax/Km)fast/(Vmax/Km)slow) calcd. The results show that (i) purifn. In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 9001-62-1 and 77287-29-7 of the com. lipase increased the E value 2.5-fold; (ii) both isoenzymes have similar E values, and (iii) in general, the E value increases with the immobilization process. .
