The wt. loss due to corrosion was 13 mg, vs. 41 for steel sheets immersed in a soln. of 100 parts aq. LiBr (55 wt.%) soln., 0.017 part Li2MoO4, and 0.14 part LiOH. The mixt. had increased crevice corrosion resistance. .
