The activated adsorbent 10 g was charged into a cylindrical glass filter, and 40 mL aq. 10% MeOH soln. contg. 200 ppm C. I. Disperse Blue 7 was added. The mixt. was filtered after 30 min. The decoloration was 98.1%.
