DOCUMENT TYPE: Conference CA Section: 49 (Industrial Inorganic Chemicals) The trisubstituted Zn phosphate was prepd. by neutralizing wet-process H3PO4 with a stoichiometric amt. of ZnO at 20-5.degree. and after sepg. the solid phase by heating the mother liquor to 90.degree. for Zn phosphate crystn. The product contained Zn phosphate 90-5, Fe phosphate 2-2.79, Mn 1.3-1.5, Ca 1.72-2.59, Al <0.01, Mg 0.73-2.3, and Cu <0.004%. The water-sol. components were 3-5%. It can be used as fertilizer or for the prepn. of 99-99.7% Zn phosphate, Zn sulfide, and other high-purity materials. .
