The material retained was heated at 800°, dissolved in 2:1 HCl-H2SO4, and P was pptd. as NH4 phosphomolybdate, dissolved in 0.1N NaOH, and titrated with 0.1 N HNO3 by using phenolphthalein as indicator. (% found - % calcd.) was ￡0.02 for Baraka, whereas for salts used in Baraka manuf., Cd3(PO4)2, Zn3(PO4)2, Mg3(PO4)2, BPO4, Cu3(PO4)2, K3PO4, and FePO4, it was +0.05, -0.04, +0.04, +0.05, +0.03, +0.02, and +0.05, resp. .
