I exhibits excellent ovicidal, larvicidal, and nymphicidal activities, but activity against adult mites is poor. I has long-lasting residual activity and does not impart cross resistance in mites to organophosphates. I shows no adverse effects on predatory mites and exhibits low toxicity to mammals and fish.
