The tumor became pulpable about 12 days after the inoculation and the larger tumor was chosen as a treatment site. After 12 days, doxorubicin [23214-92-8] suspended in Lipiodol [8002-46-8] (an oily contrast medium) was then given through the femoral artery. As Lipiodol was demonstrated in the neoplastic area by x-ray and histol. examn. it is a good carrier for anticancer agents. A Lipiodolized antitumor agent should be an effective approach to selective cancer chemotherapy. 8002-46-8 which is the cas registry number is also used here. .
