(-)-Noradrenaline bitartrate uptake was temp.-dependent and was competitively inhibited by desipramine, Ki 0.049.mu.M. Noradrenaline uptake was inhibited noncompetitively by mescaline, Ki 10.55.mu.M, suggesting that the uptake of mescaline did not occur by the noradrenaline uptake mechanism.
