The measurement conditions were: Phenomenex-ODS column, mobile phase H2O-MeCN-AcOH-THF (:0.2:2) (pH = 5), flow rate 1.0 mL min-1, and detection wavelength 254 nm. The linear range was 0.04-0.2 ng and the correlation coeffs. wer 0.9998 and 0.9995. The recovery rates for evodiamine and rutaecarpin were 99.25% and 99.42%, resp. with 1.62% and 1.61% of RSD. .
