The LD50 values were 790 and 594 mg/kg, resp. for rats and mice after oral administration and were 58 and mg/kg after i.p. doses. In subocnite expts., I decreased the wt. gain and feed consumption. Nerol. examns. revealed an increase in serum contents of proteins, transaminoses, lactate dehydrogenase and cholinesterase in females and particularly in males. Pathol. studies showed changes in the morphol. of liver and kidney cells.
