Synthesis and preliminary pharmacological activity of aminoalkoxy isosteres of glycolate ester anticholinergics
Synthesis and preliminary pharmacological activity of aminoalkoxy isosteres of glycolate ester anticholinergics. Fries, David S.; Andrako, John; Hudgins, Patricia (Sch. Pharm., Virginia Commonw. Univ., Richmond, Va., USA). J. Med.In this article, certain chemicals are used. One of their cas registry numbers is 882-59-7 Chem., 20(10), 1250-4 (English) 1977. CODEN: JMCMAR. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacodynamics) Section cross-reference(s): 25 Five 2-[(dialkylamino)alkoxy]-1,1-diphenylethanols and 5 2-(N-heterocycleoxy)-1,1-diphenylethanols were prepd. by the reaction of 2,2-diphenyloxirane [882-59-7] with the alkoxide form of the appropriate amino alc. Most of the compds. had moderate anticholinergic activity when tested on the isolated rat jejunum or for inhibition of perphenazine-induced catatonia in rats. The most active compds. were I [63624-24-8], II [63624-25-9], and III [63624-26-0]. Structure-activity relations are discussed. .
The reaction of trimethylstannylmethyllithium with electrophiles
The reaction of trimethylstannylmethyllithium with electrophiles. Murayama, Eigoro; Kikuchi, Toshihiro; Sasaki, Kotaro; Sootome, Norio; Sato, Tadashi (Dep. Appl. Chem., Waseda Univ., Tokyo 160, Japan). Chem. There are some reagents like 882-59-7 is used in this study. Lett., (11), 1897-900 (English) 1984. CODEN: CMLTAG. ISSN: 0366-7022. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 21 (General Organic Chemistry) Me3SnCH2Li (I) was found to be a versatile reagent for the prepn. of 1-alkenes from carbonyl compds., allyl alcs. from a-chloro ketones, and cyclopropanes from oxiranes. Thus, treatment of carbonyl compds. RCOR1 (benzophenone, 1-tetralone, PhCH2CH2COMe, etc.) with I gave hydroxyalkylstannanes HOCRR1CH2SnMe3, which were treated with silica gel to give olefins RR1C:CH2. .
