- Effectiveness of nitrosomethylurea derivatives in combined chemotherapy of experimental tumors. Krutova, T. V.; Ostrovskaya, L. A. (Inst. Chem. Phys., Moscow 117977, USSR). Eksp. Onkol., 8(5), 47-50 (Russian) 1986. CODEN: EKSODD. ISSN: 0204-3564. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) Section cross-reference(s): 2 The antitumor activity of the combined application of the nitrosomethylurea derivs. dimethylnitrosourea [13256-32-1] and ADEKO [88527-77-9] with cyctostatics of various groups was studied in transplanted tumors of La and L1210 leukemias and Lewis lung carcinoma. Combined treatment with ADEKO and cyclophosphamide [50-18-0], methotrexate [59-05-2], and dibunol [128-37-0] resulted in therapeutic synergism evaluated by the tumor growth inhibition activity and by life span increase of tumor-bearing animals. An additive antitumor effect was established in combined application of ADEKO with ftorafur [17902-23-7], vincristine [57-22-7], prednisolone [50-24-8] and dimethylnitrosourea with methotrexate.
- Assessment of lethal and cytostatic effects of alkylnitrosoureas on the cells of experimental tumors
- Assessment of lethal and cytostatic effects of alkylnitrosoureas on the cells of experimental tumors. Emanuel, N. M.; Ostrovskaya, L. A.; Krutova, T. V.; Konradov, A. A. (Inst. Chem. Phys., Moscow 117977, USSR). Neoplasma, 31(5), 529-38 (English) 1984. CODEN: NEOLA4. ISSN: 0028-2685. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) A math. model for the assessment of the cytolethal and cytostatic effects of various alkylnitrosoureas (alone or, in the case of 1,3-dimethyl-1-nitrosourea [13256-32-1] and ADEKO [88527-77-9], in combination with cyclophosphamide [50-18-0]) was evaluated. The synergistic therapeutic effect of ADEKO with cyclophosphamide against NK/Ly ascites and Lewis lung carcinoma in mice was predicted with the model.
